A Strange Name

2007-05-25

A  house near us is for sale and the agents surname is Strange.

I though what an interesting name and how did that come to be?

Then I started thinking of how we use surnames --
The Strange House
Members of the family could be called Strangers
At school, the Strange child or the Strange children
Mr. or Mrs. Strange
The Strange Family
The family newsletter or website: Stange Happenings
A business -- The Strange Associates or Strange Pizza, The Strange Store
And if you lived next to them -- the Strange neighbors
Other relatives with different last names can say they have Strange Relatives


There are five Strange families listed in the local phone book and one even Stranger family (Stranger than fiction?).

How strange!  I am sure they heard plenty of jokes about their last name. I hope they have a sense of humor

a friend when i was younger was the strange family. they were nice too! haha

On the block I grew up on, there was a Strange Family. I have some strange neighbors but, their last name is Johnson ;)
