Weekend Doings

It is gray and dreary out.  No rain yet but if it comes, it looks like a downpour.
Looks like a gray and dreary weekend according to the news.

The past couple of days I got vacuuming done and trimmed the hydrangeas.

This morning we hit the road again, left the kids behind, and went to a few neighborhood yardsales.
I got my workout walking around from house to house.  Each house is on 2 acres of land so they are not close together.  I think we were there for 2 hours.

Same stuff, some books, hubby found some tools and electric wire, nothing much.

I saw some flooring that would have been good but since hubby would install it, he did not like it.

Best buy for $5.00 -- an All Clad stovetop grill pan.
At the same sale, a new Queen Sized quilt (made in China) for $10.  I probably should wrap the sofa cushion up with this to "protect" it from declining more than it is.  We need a new sofa.  Kids just seem to wear out furniture pretty fast.

Then we went to the store to pick up some items and home.

Later, I will post my Oprah Debt Diet synopsis from yesterday's show.
I will do that while I bake the chocolate chip banana bread.
