A hot day -- not what the weatherman predicted, it was scorching. It was so hot, I could fry eggs on my driveway. Neighbors opened up their pool and my hydrangeas needed extra watering.
Hot buys -- a few streets over there was a neighborhood yard sale. Got some quality clothing for my daughter (Anne Taylor Loft, Gap, an Alfred Angelo "Prom" Gown (actually was a bridesmaid's gown) with wrap in a nice shade of blue). The gown was a bit wrinkled and the lady and her husband offered to "steam" it for us, no extra cost, what service for the price. She was thrilled with the all timeless classic look purchases each a dollar.
A husband had to cell phone his wife in the house (driveway was a half mile long to the "street/curb side sale") for a price check. She called back and said not to sell me the hangers. I did not want the hangers.
My husband got a CD player for the cellar when he goes down there to "tinker".
My son got three books.
Hot party -- my niece had a graduation party. She heads off to nursing school in the fall.
