Moving Mountains for Education

We went to a fundraiser for this non-profit organization that sends rural Chinese girls to high school in China called Moving Mountains for Education (no website available at this time).

They were trying to raise money to send at least two girls if not 25 girls to high school in the Gaungdon region.  They work with a Chinese agency to help these girls get scholarships to attend a high school.
A documentary is being made about students journies and experiences.

Family income income is $371 annually from farming but high schools are private and school tuition costs $300.

We were more than happy to participate to help someone get an education and a better life through education which can bring changes to a society and the world.

Maybe you can help too -- other people have fundraisers (yard sales are the easiest) and donate their profits to this organization.
