POW Thursday -- or should I say PPOW this week, post and picture of the week -- which inspire me to write about what I saw or read while blog surfing.Just a reminder to vote for Luke if you haven't already -- remember he is a starving and broke college student. Voting ends at the end of the month.
Editing Luke has entered a film contest and wishes for you to vote on his short films so he can win some money to pay those college expenses. Be kind and help him out please. How simple is that?

Next up -- over at Dixie's Diner (serving up some homespun humor) she had this image (below) wishing Merry Christmas to all.
I had to laugh because it reminded me of when my husband and his brother were VW crazy and were fixing them up all the time. In college husband's first VW was red and it looked like he used a can opener on the roof to install a sun roof. They also used their old swing set as a helping hand as an engine lift hoisting it out of the vehicle with a heavy chain fall.
Most interesting site in their neighborhood. When I showed my husband the photo, he was quite mesmerized at this idea. If only he had known back then what he knows now. The things you can do with a VW!
