Knut the Polar Bear

2007-03-23

Knut, born in captivity at the Berlin Zoo, was rejected by his mother and now the  Zoo has intervened and saved him. (Polar Bears on on the extinction list.)

Very cute and darling.  May he have a great life.

My favorite Polar Bear appears in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Letters from Father Christmas" as Santa's "helper".  I love him!  I highly recommend this delightfully enchanting book.
